Why is no note shown?

Confirm that microphone access is enabled for Tuner in iOS Settings, then play a louder and steadier note.

Why does the note jump around?

Very quiet input, background noise, short plucked notes, or unstable pitch can make detection less steady. Try moving closer to the microphone and sustaining a single note.

Does Tuner record audio?

No. Audio is processed on device for pitch detection and is not recorded or uploaded by the app.

Can I change A4 from 440 Hz?

Yes. Open Settings in the app and adjust the A4 reference frequency.
